Yngwie cannot sing studio or live. In fact live I have seen him sing lots of times fully out a key. (Even though he has perfect pitch no doubt). Mostly His band live totally sucks, (the keyboards vocals are ok) live his vocals are completely miserable, (he is not in his right mind) when he sings smoke on the water as a far better vocalist playing keyboard is right on the side of the stage! What a knuckle head douche bag! In 2019 I saw yngwie playing for only a meager 35 people in Montclair California. When he came out and saw the miserable low attendance, I never saw such a sad look on someone’s face. (By the end 15 people had stayed for the whole set.) He has gone from playing in front of 20,000 people at Irvine Meadows in 1987 to playing in a club with 35 people in attendance , that is 90% empty and void of its human capacity! Let me not get started on his bizarre recording technique with that ridiculous drum machine. Plus he continues using no producer equals by far the worst CD he’s ever made only the instrumental’s songs save it from being complete utter disaster. April Malmsteen has managed him into the gutter! Wow how low can you go next bro? 😱🤢

actually I think it was Malmsteen who wrote in his autobiography that he punched Bonnet and left the band. Lol....thanks for sharing

Be as it may, 'No Parole.....' was, and is, a fantastic album 🤘💥🎵 It's unfair to judge music because of the personal aspect of the musician.....same applies to actors, writers, etc. We all do stupid things, especially when we are young. Sure, some people never improve, or they become more stupid even..... (this is NOT directed at Malmo)

Joe's the best when he plays his stuff. His solos, not Yngwie's (Yngwie did that best in Alcatrazz and can't be topped even by Joe) and especially his solo stuff. He definitey perfected the wheel and made huge amounts of awesome music I actually listen to much more than Yngwie's. Especially newer Yngwies...
